Commercial Analyst – Global Payment Solutions
We are excited to offer a brand-new role within our business for a Commercial Analyst, working with Global Supply Payment Solutions. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in an evolving environment and enjoys the challenge of building processes from the ground up.
In this role, you will report to the Global Supply Payments Lead and work closely with a Senior BI Analyst. You’ll be involved in both project-based work and ongoing monthly activities, providing financial insights and analysis that directly support our strategic initiatives.
 
 
 
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze projects / initiatives performance, including revenue, costs, margins, and profitability, and generate detailed financial reports.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Work with stakeholders throughout the group to prepare budgets, revenue forecasts and variance analyses for future financial periods.
  • Cost-Benefit Analysis: Assess the financial viability of various projects, balancing costs against expected benefits.
  • Business Case Development: Build comprehensive business cases to justify new initiatives, including strategic and financial projections.
  • Cost Analysis: Evaluate the cost structure of the business to identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
  • KPI Reporting: Regularly report on KPIs to measure the success of business initiatives and activities.
  • Benchmarking: Compare the company’s performance against industry standards and competitors to identify best practices and areas for improvement.

 

 

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Business or other relevant graduate degree
  • CA, CPA qualified/working towards desirable 
  • Experience in a similar role (Analytical / Reporting role)
  • Skilled in Power Bi, Power Query Editor or SQL
  • High attention to detail
  • Advanced time management and prioritisation skills
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to communicate complex financial information simplistically
  • Experience in a business with high transactional volumes would be advantageous
