About The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and motivated Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B marketing, a creative mindset, and the ability to execute effective marketing strategies. This role requires a proactive individual who is experienced with referral and partnership marketing, can manage multiple projects, drive lead-generation strategies, and contribute to the overall marketing goals.

The Marketing Specialist will fully own our referral and partnership marketing programs and be responsible for their strategies, growth, optimizations, and reporting. They will be responsible for developing and managing content for these programs along with managing both external and internal stakeholder relationships.

Working closely with the VP Marketing, the Marketing Specialist will play a key role in generating leads, new business, and growth across target segments. This role will support regional growth strategies, and they will identify growth opportunities within key regions to drive, brand awareness, consideration and lead generation.

The Marketing Specialist will support all marketing activities in the Quebec market and be responsible for the translation and maintenance of marketing assets to French.

This role requires excellent project management skills and the ability to analyze and leverage data to inform, optimize and report on marketing strategies. Excellent written and analytical skills are necessary for this role.

The travel industry is fast paced and changeable, requirements can be short notice or change direction rapidly so the successful candidate will need a flexible and dynamic approach to identify and deliver on opportunities. The role requires an individual who can work well under pressure and can multi-task and prioritize their work according to changing business objectives and requirements. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for referral and partnership marketing programs that align with overall marketing objectives.
  • Own and foster relationships with existing partnership marketing stakeholders and identify new opportunities within the program.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of both referral and marketing programs results plus provide regular performance reports and insights to VP of Marketing.
  • Monitor and analyze referral and partnership marketing performance metrics to assess effectiveness and ROI.
  • Responsible for the briefing, overseeing production and deployment of all marketing materials related to referral and partnership marketing programs, ensuring consistency in brand voice and brand codes.
  • Identify new growth opportunities across referral and partnership marketing that support lead generation and drive brand awareness and consideration in key regions.
  • Support the development of regional marketing strategies that drive awareness, consideration and lead generation.
  • Work closely with customer success teams to own the collection, creation and distribution of testimonials (incl video), case studies, etc. and work with global teams to deliver these through various marketing channels.
  • Own existing industry publication relationships and identify new ones to drive brand awareness and consideration growth across target verticals.
  • Deliver customer and prospect insights to greater marketing team on a regular basis.
  • Develop and deliver customer retention tactics focused on growing LTV.
  • Develop and execute lead nurturing tactics across the customer journey to move leads through the funnel and convert.
  • Own relationship with translation agency and internal stakeholders for the translation and maintenance of marketing assets to French.
  • Identify and support growth opportunities and channels within Quebec market.
  • Take on additional projects as directed by VP of Marketing.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of related marketing experience, preferably in B2B marketing.
  • Must have minimum 1 years’ experience with referral and partnership marketing.
  • Experience in corporate travel/travel industry desirable but not essential.  
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in working across large cross functional and globalized teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of adaptability and demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and agile landscape.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Eloqua, Microsoft suite (word, excel, powerpoint, etc.) and GA4.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $75,000 - $80,000. Base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
