We are looking for a Head of Tech PMO / Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of strategic technology initiatives and drive transformation across the business. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, this role will establish and strengthen project governance, optimize resource allocation, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable business value.
 
About the Opportunity
As the Head of Tech PMO / Project Manager, you will build and lead a high-performing PMO function that enables effective project execution across a diverse technology portfolio. Working closely with business and technology leaders, you will drive delivery excellence, champion best practices, improve visibility across programs, and create a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
 
Your main responsibility is:
  • Lead and oversee the delivery of technology projects and programs, ensuring quality outcomes, timeline adherence, and effective risk management.
  • Establish and maintain PMO governance frameworks, methodologies, standards, reporting, and project management best practices.
  • Manage project portfolios, monitor performance, identify risks and dependencies, and provide clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to define project roadmaps, priorities, resource planning, and delivery strategies.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and drive effective communication across project teams and business functions.
  • Champion continuous improvement through process optimization, performance tracking, change management, and adoption of project management tools and technologies.
About You
The Essentials:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is advantageous.
  • Minimum 7 years of project management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading project managers, business analysts, or cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Strong expertise in project delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and iterative approaches.
  • Demonstrated success driving organizational transformation and improving project delivery capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices and technology environments.
  • PMP certification is highly regarded.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
