About the Opportunity

Discova is looking for a talented Full Stack Business Intelligence professional to join our Finance team in a business-critical role. This position sits at the intersection of data, technology, and finance, helping transform complex business requirements into meaningful insights that drive better decision-making across the organisation. You will work closely with stakeholders across multiple departments, develop scalable data solutions, and create impactful Power BI reporting that supports business performance and growth. This is an exciting opportunity to influence reporting strategy, improve automation, and contribute to the implementation of a new system.
 

Key Responsibility

  • Translate business and financial requirements into scalable data models.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualisations.
  • Implement Business Intelligence dashboards with a focus on usability, performance, and business value.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources to support reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Optimise report performance, load times, and refresh reliability.
  • Maintain and enhance analytics platforms.
  • Analyse reporting outputs and provide actionable insights and recommendations to business teams.
  • Support automation initiatives within Finance, including enhancements to Tourplan and future system integration.
  • Drive Power BI integration across business systems and data sources.
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to identify opportunities for better reporting, automation, and decision-making.
  • Share knowledge, best practices, and technical expertise with team members.
  • Participate in training and ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in Business Intelligence or data analytics.
  • Strong SQL, Power BI, DAX, and data modelling skills.
  • Experience with data warehousing and Business Intelligence architecture.
  • Experience supporting Finance or reporting functions is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to generate meaningful business insights from data.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration capability.
  • Continuous improvement and automation mindset.
