Flight Centre Travel Group is looking for a Digital Specialist (Mid) to join our dynamic global marketing community. Based in South Africa, you’ll play a key role in shaping digital strategies for our Canada or UK markets — partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional digital brand experiences and optimize performance across multiple online channels.
Primary Accountabilities & Objectives

Quality Lead Generation: Implement and refine lead generation strategies to ensure the acquisition of high-quality leads through various digital channels, fostering meaningful connections and potential conversions.

Website Retailing Enhancement: Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize the website's retailing capabilities, focusing on user experience, product presentation, and seamless transactional processes to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Digital Media: Responsible for managing paid digital media channels and initiatives that drive leads, brand awareness, campaigns, and store awareness and visits.

Site Conversion Optimization: Conduct comprehensive analyses of website performance metrics, user behavior, and conversion funnels to identify optimization opportunities, implementing iterative improvements to maximize conversion rates and revenue generation.

Analytical Insight and Strategy Development: Utilize data-driven insights and industry best practices to inform strategic decision-making, continuously refining digital experiences to align with evolving market trends and consumer preferences.

Implementation, Collaboration & Regional Advocate: Key contact within region to ensure country is represented across Martech, SEO, Analytics, Paid Performance, and Website. Must collaborate and be the point person on digital standardisation rollouts across respective regions. These will include website enhancements, personalisation implementation, creating segment audiences in personalisation and delivering them to respective channels e.g. automation and AdWords accounts.
Experience
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in digital performance or related field.
Skills & Capabilities

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.

Experience in digital marketing, website management, or related roles.

Experience managing Google Ads and Meta campaigns is essential.

Confident using digital analytics tools, content management systems (CMS), and social media management platforms.

Basic analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Comfortable with commerce media platforms such as Criteo.

Certifications in digital marketing (e.g. Google Analytics) are a plus.

GA4 and Power BI experience essential.
