About the Opportunity

This role is central to driving Discova’s consumer-facing growth strategy. The Direct-to-Consumer Marketing Lead will own and optimise our marketing efforts across OTA platforms, our direct website, and in-destination sales channels. The successful candidate will blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution to elevate our experiences, drive conversion, and maximise revenue. This is a commercially focused role requiring a deep understanding of the travel customer journey, performance marketing, and Sales channel-specific dynamics. 

Your main responsibility is:

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies across OTA, direct website, and in-destination sales. 
  • Collaborate with products, sales, and operations to align marketing with commercial goals. 
  • Develop compelling content and campaigns tailored to each channel and audience segment. 
  • Oversee delivery of digital assets across paid and organic channels. 
  • Ensure brand consistency and localisation across markets. 
  • Use analytics tools (Google Suite, CRM, OTA dashboards) to monitor performance and inform decisions. 
  • Implement SEO/SEM strategies to drive organic growth. 
  • Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks for internal stakeholders. 
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with OTA partners, local vendors, and tourism boards. 
  • Identify and execute co-marketing opportunities. 
  • Support product launches and destination campaigns with tailored marketing plans. 
  • Take ownership for management of the Kaura and Kaura Collective Brands. 
  • Collaborate with product and sustainability teams to surface Discova’s community impact initiatives across all sales channels. 
  • Ensure our responsible travel products are positioned as core to our brand identity and value proposition. 
  • Develop marketing narratives that highlight our commitment to local communities, carbon reduction, and ethical tourism.
