ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join FCM as an Intermediate Travel Manager and play a key role in delivering exceptional corporate travel experiences for business clients. This position is ideal for a travel professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex travel requirements, and is passionate about customer service excellence. You'll manage end-to-end travel arrangements, support online booking adoption, and build strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with travel policies and service standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage end-to-end corporate travel bookings including domestic, regional, and international air and land arrangements.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and travel management support to corporate clients.
  • Provide first-line online booking tool support to customers.
  • Drive and support online adoption initiatives within customer portfolios.
  • Service, retain, and grow assigned client portfolios.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate travel quotations and itinerary documentation.
  • Manage booking amendments, travel queries, and complaint resolution.
  • Ensure all enquiries are actioned within agreed service level agreements.
  • Provide confirmations and travel documentation within expected turnaround times.
  • Resolve customer queries efficiently and professionally.
  • Adhere to One Best Way processes and operational procedures.
  • Balance competing priorities while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
  • Support customer engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Ensure travel arrangements remain cost-effective and compliant with client travel policies.
  • Monitor industry trends and apply relevant travel knowledge to client solutions.
  • Maintain high standards of attention to detail and organizational excellence.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Matric.
  • South African Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in corporate travel.
  • Intermediate Travel Consultant experience.
  • Minimum 4 years' Amadeus experience.
  • Domestic, regional, international land and air booking experience.
  • Strong understanding of fares, ticketing, and air travel complexities.
  • Experience using mid and back-office travel systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Relevant travel qualification advantageous.
