The Events Project Lead will provide support to the Events Leader in effectively leading and managing the live events teams and strive to meet or exceed business targets.


What you will be doing:

  • Be fully accountable for the projects under your direction and work with the Events Leader, Sales Team and the customer to ensure that the event brief and budget are fully understood to deliver creative and logistically sound solutions
  • Ability to develop and manage existing customer relationships for consistent and repeat business opportunities  
  • Support workflow and resource management across all projects and within the greater team
  • Mentoring & training team members in FCM Meeting & Events policy, systems, processes and platforms 

You'll be perfect for the role if you have:

  • Proven track record in effective leadership and experience in training and mentoring team members
  • A minimum of 6 years demonstrated experience in project management within the event management and production industry.  
  • Demonstrated effective customer service skills
  • A knowledge of all major suppliers and relevant MICE products and destinations   
  • Knowledge of project management processes, standards and procedures
