What You’ll Bring:

  • Data analysis and reporting experience (excel, pivot tables, Power Query)
  • Prior experience in retail, financial services, or multi-site operations
  • Knowledge of the General Retail Award or similar award/legislation frameworks
  • Comfortable with data reconciliation and exception handling
  • Clear written/verbal communication and stakeholder coordination experience
  • Experience with a rostering/time & attendance system OR understanding of basic concepts and its importance 

 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Align rosters with customer demand, budget, and General Retail Award compliance
  • Monitor contracted hours, leave, and overtime; suggest cost-effective alternatives
  • Coach store leaders on roster best practices and manage exceptions
  • Validate leave entries and reconcile consultant deals between GTS and store timesheets
  • Reconcile rosters, timesheets, leave bookings, and contracted hours; resolve discrepancies before payroll
  • Prepare payroll files, track approvals, and ensure timely submission
  • Check award settings, penalty rates, and public holiday rules with Payroll/HR; escalate issues as needed
  • Conduct daily spot checks, weekly approvals, and payroll cutoff reconciliations
  • Maintain Excel, Power Query, and Power BI models/macros
  • Update fortnightly reporting packs and monthly dashboards with Commercial Analyst support
  • Work with Payroll and People Planner teams to meet deadlines and ensure smooth operations
  • Identify process gaps, document SOPs, and drive improvements
