Day in the life:

We are seeking a highly skilled UiPath Technical Lead to drive the technical delivery of automation projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with UiPath RPA development, solution architecture, and best practices in automation implementation. As a key member of the RPA Center of Excellence (COE), you will provide technical guidance, mentor developers, and ensure the successful deployment of scalable and efficient automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership and Architecture
    • Lead the design and development of UiPath-based automation solutions.
    • Define best practices, coding standards, and design principles for RPA development.
    • Conduct code reviews, quality assurance, and performance optimization for automation projects.
    • Evaluate and recommend UiPath tools, frameworks, and components for enhanced automation capabilities.
    • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements in automation development.
  • Project Delivery and Execution
    • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and validate automation requirements.
    • Oversee end-to-end automation solution design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize existing automations for scalability and efficiency.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to RPA developers and junior engineers.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation workflows, solutions, and technical guidelines.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
    • Work closely with IT teams, business units, and the RPA COE to align automation initiatives with business goals.
    • Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance automation capabilities and enterprise-wide RPA adoption.
    • Provide training and mentorship to developers on UiPath best practices and new technologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in UiPath RPA development and implementation.
  • Proficiency in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Robot architecture.
  • Strong experience with REFramework and custom workflow development.
  • Knowledge of OCR, AI/ML, and API integrations within UiPath.
  • Familiarity with UiPath Apps, Action Center, Document Understanding, and AI Center is a plus.
  • Strong programming skills in .NET, C#, or VB.NET, with experience in Python or JavaScript being advantageous.
  • Expertise in SQL, web services (REST/SOAP), and data handling.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based automation (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • UiPath Advanced RPA Developer Certification (UiARD)
  • UiPath Solution Architect Certification
  • ITIL, Agile, or PMP certifications
