Day in the life:

The UiPath Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of the UiPath automation environment. This role ensures smooth operation, performance optimization, and security of UiPath components, including Orchestrator, Studio, and Robots. The administrator collaborates with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure teams to provide technical support and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain UiPath Orchestrator, Studio, and Robots across different environments (Development, Testing, and Production).
  • Manage UiPath Orchestrator, including user access, roles, permissions, and scheduling of automation processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot UiPath platform issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Implement security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
  • Work closely with IT teams to manage infrastructure, server configurations, and system updates.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform log analysis and debugging of automation workflows to identify and resolve errors.
  • Maintain documentation for system architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with RPA Developers and Business Analysts to support automation lifecycle and deployment strategies.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and development teams on UiPath platform best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in UiPath administration, including Orchestrator, Studio, and Robots.
  • Experience with Windows Server, IIS, SQL databases, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and authentication (Active Directory, SSO, OAuth).
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools and log analysis (Elastic Stack, Splunk, etc.).
  • Knowledge of RPA development best practices and UiPath licensing models.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages for automation tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) or UiPath Certified RPA Associate (UiRPA).
  • Experience integrating UiPath with third-party applications, APIs, and databases.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for automation deployment.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
