Purpose

This role is responsible for analysing data and trends, monitor market competition, evaluating ad-hoc reports as necessary and maximising margin for all product types. This role is also responsible for making pricing recommendations across the selling divisions and present professionally to peers and leaders across different departments.

Day to day you… 

  • Apply the principles of revenue management to optimise the revenue of
    the company. 
  • Assist with developing a system to assist in comparing the market, along
    with the company's own data, and setting up customer prices that
    maximise profits.
  • Develop and improve standard revenue report templates, presentations,
    and methodologies Lead development of innovative methods and tools for reviewing,
    analysing, forecasting, and presenting on revenue achievements.
  • Create and amend procedures as necessary to ensure stakeholders
    engagement and continuous improvement.
  • Are a part of an overall engagement with Australia and NZ marketing teams,
    help develop an RM approach for promotions around packages.
  • Assist the global procurement teams in establishing our buying
    competitiveness and highlight discrepancies in rates, deals and products.
  • Are responsible for price changes upload process with accuracy, consistency,
    and efficiency.
  • Are responsible for specific market segments and acquire deep market
    intelligence to advise our selling businesses on pricing related strategies.
  • Are responsible for individual supplier with the top sellers for high
    granularity analysis, help develop requirements, reporting and outcomes.
  • Develop, evaluate and implement pricing strategies and models based
    upon current business and competitive market dynamics.
  • Monitor ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not
    adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with Sales/Marketing, Operations and Finance to correctly
    position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements.
  • Are responsible for analysing and forecasting how changes in pricing,
    individual promotions and rebate programs will affect the company's
    revenue.

 

 

 

We’d love to hear from you if you have… 

  • Relevant Revenue or Yield Management experience within airline, OTA or travel wholesaler, car rental or the hotel industry.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience required in a similar role
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • Excel & Powerbi proficiency
