About your opportunity...
Our team develops internal products and solutions to ensure that our customers have an enjoyable experience throughout their time with us. To do so we utilise several webapps: A travel platform, a small CRM, a reporting tool, a tool for travel proposals, etc.
As our DevOps Engineer, you will evolve and maintain our infrastructure that consists of many virtual servers and containers clusters, and a few managed databases. Additional responsibilities are as follows:
- Be responsible for the CI/CD process
- Decide on the update or renew of the architecture
- Take part in the software cycle with the rest of the development team
- Ensure the systems are securitized
- Report to the CTO of the Lab
What we are looking for...
- The candidate should have a passion for automation and optimization.
- Ideate and contribute to projects that increase overall efficiency/performance of the engineering team.
- Bring expertise on troubleshooting application, database, and networking performance and failures.
- Continually identify areas for process improvement in the production environment and develop appropriate resolutions.
- Experience with Cloud providers (DigitalOcean, Azure, AWS, GCP, OVH).
- Proficient with the command line, shell/Python scripting, and configuring systems monitoring tools.
- Experience with tools such as Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, SaltStack, etc.
- Experience with configuration management, monitoring, and automation tools.
- Linux administration skills.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience maintaining web projects (Nginx, RoR, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Knowledge of security principles.
- Spoken and/or written English (French is a plus).
Contract type: Initial 12 month contract (with possibility to extend)
Location: Plaza Catalunya, Barcelona (or remote from Spain)
