About the Opportunity
As a Business Development Manager for Meetings & Events based in Singapore, you'll be the driving force behind acquiring new MICE business and expanding our client base across the region. You'll be the face of FCM, meeting key decision-makers, delivering compelling pitches, and turning opportunities into wins. We are looking for an ambitious top seller, a relationship builder who is ready to make a real impact in a highly visible role and thrive in a fast and dynamic environment.

What You Will Do
- Smash your sales targets and exceed revenue goals consistently
- Build and execute strategic account plans to win new MICE business and expand your portfolio
- Hunt for new business using cold-calling, networking, and creative prospecting methods
- Deliver standout sales presentations using a 'challenger sales' methodology — passionate, confident, and compelling
- Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and follow the sales process with rigor
- Maximize upselling opportunities by proposing additional events and activities that complement client needs
- Personally lead Account Reviews with large customers
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors like a champion to deliver outstanding value while hitting revenue targets
- Own seamless handovers to the account management team with all the key details needed to maximize TTV
- Accurately forecast projected sales revenue and manage your personal portfolio of Corporate & MICE accounts
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Product, and HR teams to resolve client matters
Who We're Looking For
- 4–8 years' experience in MICE sales and client management (TMC experience preferred)
- A relationship builder who connects authentically at executive level
- Proven track record of exceeding targets and executing winning sales strategies
- Good product knowledge on destinations and MICE group operations
- Strong MICE corporate experience and market relations
- Sound commercial knowledge with ability to analyze financial data and build compelling business cases
- Confident presenter who can engage audiences and influence decisions
- Reasonably travelled with strong destination knowledge
- Familiar with sales pipeline management
- Self-motivated, independent with strong interpersonal skills and a hunger for success
- Effective networking skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for travel and the travel industry
