About the opportunity:
We're seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to take ownership of our ANZ trade business, with a primary focus on managing and growing our partnership with Flight Centre and other key Australia-based accounts. This is a hands-on role where you'll build strong relationships, drive revenue growth, and play a key part in developing our ANZ market presence.
You'll combine strategic account management with direct business development, managing your own territory while supporting and mentoring team members. As a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, you'll be focused on achieving year-on-year growth across your portfolio while maintaining high service standards.
A day in the life...
- Lead and inspire your team through 1-1s and quarterly development sessions, coaching them to exceed their goals
- Craft winning strategic plans for key trade partners, mapping out revenue targets, product mix, and ambitious market share goals
- Own high-level relationships with Flight Centre and other major ANZ accounts, connecting with senior stakeholders to unlock new opportunities
- Drive impressive year-on-year growth by spotting untapped potential and expanding your accounts into exciting new destinations
- Be the go-to partner for your clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and solving challenges before they become problems
- Spearhead the contracting process from pitch to close, bringing internal teams together and presenting compelling proposals that win business
- Co-create impactful marketing campaigns with partners that genuinely move the needle and expand market reach
- Stay ahead of the curve on industry trends, competitor moves, and product innovations that give your accounts a competitive edge
Who you are...
- 5+ years of sales, business development, and/or account management within the travel industry
- Proven leadership experience with a recent track record of successfully managing and developing teams
- In-depth Asia market experience (strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated success in growing accounts and maintaining high customer retention rates
- Strong track record in new business development and strategic partnerships
