About the Opportunity
The RPA Developer role sits within the Flight Centre Global Business Improvement team. The team is made up of various SMEs such as Project Managers, Business Analysts and Digital Adoption Specialist and is tasked with improving business outcomes through the Business Process Management framework:

The main duties of the RPA developer within this team is to analyse opportunities during the Process Analysis and Process Redesign Stages and subsequently implement automations using primarily the UIPath RPA software during the Process Implementation stage.
The RPA Developer is responsible for the ongoing monitoring, maintenance and quality control management of automations implemented.
Furthermore the RPA Developer will participate in maintaining a work backlog and reporting on ROI achievement.
What you will be doing:
Business Process Improvement
- Consult with business managers, project managers, and various stakeholders to identify and analyse pain points and opportunities
- Interpret complex requirements and provide objective assessments with actionable ideas to refine business processes
- Design and implement RPA processes to enhance efficiency, streamline operations, and reduce costs, where appropriate
- Employ best practice in process development and deployment (e.g. A/B testing, UAT protocols, redundancy and disaster recovery)
Knowledge Management
- Manage and maintain internal knowledge management systems (KMS), including Confluence with rules and operational procedures for programs implemented
- Effectively communicate and on-training RPA’s with local and remote SME’s to support workflows
- Contribute to Community of Practice sessions and follow agreed standards
Internal and External Stakeholder Communication
- Continuously improve internal and external stakeholder communication practices
- Utilise appropriate products to meet communication and collaboration requirements
- Work with Stakeholders to achieve adoption targets
Task Automation (UIPath)
- Act as the product owner for UIPath RPA Solution for the iconic Flight Centre brand globally
- Build and maintain RPA workflows or subsequent processes
- Provide support for queries and issues related to deployed RPAs
- Design and complete appropriate testing protocols and regression testing to continually deliver robust RPA solutions
Reporting and Analytics
- Utilise appropriate reporting techniques to provide reporting on ROI targets and adoption rates
Hours: Standard hours however occasional after hours meetings needed to meet project needs of a global business
What you will need:
Must haves -
- Project experience in Automation projects (either supporting or directly implementing automation processes)
- UIPath Development Capability (Intermediate to Advanced)
- Competency in using API calls within RPA
Added Advantage -
- Microsoft PowerApp suite
- Business Analytics capability or background
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in business or related field of study
- Three years of experience in a related field
- Travel industry domain experience
