Purpose 
 
As a Global Head of People and Culture, you will lead the development and deployment of People and Culture strategies for each global brand within the Leisure Business.  These strategies will be designed to ensure the support provided by the broader P&C discipline enable and enhance the business to drive business growth, employee engagement, and performance excellence.  You will also serve as a trusted advisor to all members of the Executive team, providing strategic guidance and support, and custodian of our employee value proposition and management of talent.
 
Key Responsibilities 
  • Develop and implement comprehensive people strategies aligned with the Leisure business’s overall objectives and giving consideration to global brand and regional nuances, in doing so, work collaboratively with the Regional P&C teams and centres of expertise to drive initiatives that attract, retain, develop, and engage a diverse and high-performing workforce
  • Draw on disparate sources of data, experience and expertise to identify existing and emergent workforce-related trends, business risks and opportunities and implement responses/approaches
  • HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure the businesses HR policies, practices, and procedures are up-to-date, compliant with labour laws, and aligned with industry best practices
  • Community and Industry Engagement: Represent the business in external HR and industry forums, conferences, and events
  • Ethics and Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of ethical behaviour and ensure HR practices are aligned with the business’s values and legal requirements
  • Provide advice and leadership on change management, identifying changes that carry the potential to adversely effect productivity and/or engagement
  • As a member of the Global People and Culture Executive Team (PET), participate in development of the global People and Culture Strategy and work collaboratively with your peers to help drive delivery
  
You'll be perfect for the role if you have
 
  • 5 - 10 Years+ of demonstrated and progressive HR experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, or equivalent
  • Experience leading multi-disciplined People and Culture teams for global business with workforce numbers exceeding 3,000.
  • Experience working as a strategic business partner as a member of Senior Executive for complex, globally disperse businesses.
  • Demonstrated experience in all elements of strategic workforce planning, employee experience, talent management, organizational development, and change management – strategic and operational experience.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
