Purpose 

As Head of Remuneration and Benefits you will partner with the Regional and Global business leaders, and People and Culture teams to provide a contemporary, globally consistent, and pragmatic approach to remuneration and benefits that is aligned to Flight Centre Travel Group’s philosophies and culture, ensuring good commercial outcomes that support the attraction, retention and performance of our people. This is a 12 month contract position.

 

Day in the life

  • Own and maintain the FCTG remuneration strategy, policy, procedures and tools, including role evaluation methodology and market data, for consistent global application and management 

  • Maintain a central register of all current and historical remuneration arrangements per cohort (e.g.sales roles per region) and individual 

  • Ensure internal governance protocols that prevent deviation from the agreed policies and procedures and provide routine reporting  

  • Lead the global annual remuneration review process, take specific accountability for Taskforce and Senor Leader cohorts, and provide an oversight function for all other roles 

  • Work in partnership with CoSec and finance to administer equity and ownership schemes and adjust and improve to align with changing business and market circumstances  

  • Work with Regional P&C leaders to ensure a benefits strategy that differentiates FCTG in our respective markets and is globally consistent where practical 

  • Lead remuneration and benefits capability-building for leaders and People and Culture teams in the application of our globally consistent approaches (as necessary) 

  

You'll be perfect for the role if you have

  • Relevant degree qualified 

  • Deep expertise in data and analytics 

  • Remuneration and benefits strategy and governance with a global remit  

  • Global remuneration market data product selection and application 

  • Benefits strategy and application 

  • HRIS and remuneration systems selection and use 

  • Leadership by influence, including with a global reach 

  • Operating as a member of a globally dispersed and often virtual team 

  • Strong business, commercial and financial acumen 

  • Sales and/or travel industry 

  • Listed company remuneration experience
