About the Opportunity
Moneywise Financial Advice is an accredited offer with an established and growing client base with regular, quality referrals and constant supply of opportunities from aligned and established corporate super plans. The purpose of the Financial Adviser role is to deliver comprehensive advice services to Flight Centre employees and external clients.
We are a genuine, friendly team, shaped on the culture and philosophies of Flight Centre Travel Group. You will work closely with the Financial Advice Team Leader, our Client Services Officer and the broader Moneywise team. You will have daily team, customer, supplier, and wider FCTG contact.
In this role you will:
- Manage existing clients and new clients through leads and a steady stream of referrals.
- Provide timely and appropriate comprehensive financial advice to MWG clients in a client-centric, compliant manner.
- With support from the Team Leader and support staff, build your client base through client advocacy and FCTG staff base and aligned super fund support.
- Continuously develop technical and product knowledge to deliver high quality financial advice in in the best interests of our clients.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with the Financial Advice team, broader MWG team and key stakeholders across FCTG.
You will do well in this role if you have:
- Finance Advice qualifications (including FASEA) reflected on the Financial Advice Register enabling AFSL authorised representative status.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Financial Adviser, with knowledge across a range of strategies including specialist knowledge in superannuation and personal insurances.
- Experience managing an existing book of ongoing service clients, with demonstrated capacity to engage new clients.
- High level competency of Xplan including Wealthsolver, Risk Researcher and XTools
- Industry platform and site proficiency for retail and industry super funds, and major insurance providers.
- A thorough understanding of financial planning regulations and strong compliance history
- An engaging customer service and team collaboration mindset
- Attention to detail, excellent time management and a real pride in delivery
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly and succinctly across all levels
- Initiative and high motivation enabling an independent and remote working environment.
