As a key member of the Finance automation team, the Business Analyst will support the business to identify opportunities to reduce administration tasks for both the finance community and consultants to improve productivity.

The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering requirements, documenting process, design, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

This role will be supported by the automation team lead and other disciplines roles as they develop skills across process improvement, software development life cycle methodologies, and experience in creating commercial business cases to understand the return on investment of opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  •  Gather and document business requirements and processes to identify
    opportunities for optimisation and automation
  • Develop use cases and process flows to support the development of
    improvements
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand business needs and pain
    points
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and ensure that solutions meet
    business requirements
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and training material

Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in finance
  • Tertiary level qualification in relevant field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Project management skills with a focus on process improvement
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a business analyst role or similar
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-moving and dynamic
    environment
  • Salary range on offer: $70k-80k (excluding super) plus a potential 10% upside (based on experience and company performance)
