About The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and driven Senior Business Development Manager for the iconic Flight Centre brand in Canada. Seen as another form of marketing for the business, this role will be responsible for getting our brand in front of potential customers, both identifying and soliciting opportunities that will drive sales into our nationwide business. These opportunities will support but are not limited our Group Travel, Corporate Benefits, and Business Travel (sSME/SME) business divisions, as well as growing Gift Card sales and any other identified and agreed strategic opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Development:

- Identifying, qualifying, and winning new business, ideally supporting sales growth in the following key business divisions and opportunities:
- Maintaining an accurate and ongoing sales pipeline
- Creating and maintaining relationships with key contacts in prospective accounts
- Delivery of results against set objectives & KPIs
- Drive new business development, consistently achieving KPIs such as first appointments, conversion rates, new business turnover, and client retention.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients, leveraging Salesforce to track and manage opportunities and maintain data integrity.
- Foster strong, consultative relationships with key prospects,
- Leverage internal and external networks to generate leads, secure appointments, and drive new business
- Understand market dynamics, including competitor offerings
Sales Process & Execution:

- Qualify customer needs and ensure tailored solutions that address their specific business requirements.
- Developing compelling business cases and collaborating with internal stakeholders to showcase our value propositions.
- Work with regional and global leaders, including the SWOT team, to identify organic growth and retention opportunities, aiming to increase total transaction value (TTV).
- Support cross-functional teams in delivering seamless service and exceeding customer expectations.
Customer Retention & Stick Rate:

- Guide the implementation of customer onboarding processes and ensure successful transitions from acquisition to ongoing partnerships.
- Drive margin optimization by promoting preferred products and services, ensuring continuous customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular account reviews and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue.
Experience & Qualifications
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth and exceed performance targets.
- In-depth knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive offerings.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior-level stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and CRM management to track sales activity and performance.
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams across regions and functions.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $80,000 plus commission/incentive earnings based on achievable targets. The salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements. On target earnings average range between $80,000 - $94,000. The annual salary range listed represents the total compensation package, excluding benefits.
