The primary purpose of this role is to support the Travel Partners Member Agents from a financial perspective, oversee and monitor TP Members' credit facilities, complete BSP and bank reconciliations, assist with processing the Accounts Payable and Receivable for Travel Partners Holdings and compile relevant reports.

 

 

 

 

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Maintain Finance function in TIN ticketing system.
  • Set-up and maintain TIN Ticketing System entries.
  • Liaise closely with TP Ticketing Team
  • Weekly BSP reconciliation for Members IATA (high volume)
  • Process/record all relevant journal entries in the TP Accounting System (currently MYOB & SUN)
  • Prepare and action TP Members direct-debit account settlement.
  • collate and analyse member agent supplier overrides. 
  • Calculate and prepare Members Override settlements
  • Oversee TP Members Debtors
  • Daily Bank Reconciliations
  • Identify and follow up unknown transactions
  • Enter payment files on Westpac COL
  • Calculation, preparation and distribution of monthly Mobile Agents' RCTls  Month End tasks
  • Monitor and action TP Accounts e-mail and provide phone support as required
  • Generate Sales Reporting and provide analysis
  • Key relationships with TP Ticketing Support Team
  • TP Members Statements accurately processed and distributed weekly
  • Ad hoc AP and AR tasks

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Accounting and Finance (within the Travel Industry highly regarded)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Exceptional time-management & organisational skills
  • Methodical and able to follow procedures consistently
  • Great attitude and helpful approach
  • Ability to use initiative appropriately
  • Knowledge and interest in the Travel Industry
  • Experience with commercial Finance Software
