We are seeking a skilled and motivated Integration Technical Lead to manage and lead the implementation of integration solutions. In this role you will focus on designing, building, and optimising integrations between various systems, applications, and platforms. Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud-based integration solutions, particularly within Azure, and will be responsible for guiding a team of engineers to deliver seamless and scalable integration solutions that align with business goals. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of integration solutions to ensure seamless interoperability between systems and applications

• Lead a team of integration engineers providing technical guidance, mentorship and promote a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, business analysts, IT infrastructure, and software developers) to understand integration needs and define technical requirements

• Work with project managers to estimate effort, define project timelines, and monitor progress on integration projects

• Ensure that integration solutions adhere to best practices, industry standards, and security protocols

• Develop and maintain documentation for integration solutions, including architecture diagrams, process flows, and technical specifications

• Oversee the testing and deployment of integration solutions, ensuring they meet performance, scalability, and security standards

• Conduct code reviews, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and efficient integration code

• Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously monitor and optimize integration performance, identifying areas for improvement

• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and provide technical support for production systems and help resolve integration-related incidents or escalations in a timely manner

• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging integration technologies and tools, best practices, and new methodologies and proactively apply these to improve the overall integration architecture

Mandatory Skills: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus

• 5+ years of experience in integration development and leading integration projects 

• Strong expertise in cloud-based integration technologies and services, particularly within Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management, SFTP, Key Vault, Azure Storage, Event Grid, etc.)

• Must be proficient in different integration patterns, e.g. Sync/Async API, File-based integration, etc

• Deep understanding of integration patterns such as RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, microservices, messaging, and event-driven architectures

• Proficiency in cloud architecture design, governance, cost management, and optimization practices

• Strong experience with data integration techniques, including ETL processes and database management (SQL, NoSQL)

• Experience working with liquid transformation to map and transform input data 

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines)

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex integration issues in cloud environments

• Strong knowledge of security principles in cloud integration, including encryption, authentication, and authorization

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and manage project timelines effectively

• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with other integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Apache Camel

• Experience with enterprise service bus (ESB) or other middleware solutions.

• Knowledge of enterprise applications such as Workday, Salesforce, Dynamics 365 and how they integrate with Azure

• Understanding of security practices and protocols related to system integrations

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
