About The Opportunity
The Product Manager, Bridge System Engineer serves as the product owner for tools that are published to corporate travellers. The incumbent will be responsible to recover functional and technical Incidents and Requests, organise the local communication with internal & external stakeholders, and deliver local requirements to the Developer team located in other markets within Asia.
Key duties & responsibilities:
Administration and Management
- Administer and coordinate with local and regional teams to identify any system issues.
- Be the point of contact to address system-related questions and communicate solutions (functionality, application, interactions between different solution components) with local and regional teams and customers to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Manage stakeholder communication effectively by expressing ideas and opinions clearly, and defining messages to reach a common understanding of issues.
- Maintain a knowledge solution database in the internal portal.
System operating Support & Connecting with further development
- Be familiar with and leverage systems to perform client service, investigation, analysis, diagnosis and recovery of issues.
- Perform problem analysis to identify the root of issues and design solutions to resolve and prevent future occurrences.
- Listen and respond appropriately to information from others according to the professional context
- Conduct effective documentation on organisation and vendor requirements, and liaise with external vendors for system designs and development.
- Manage external vendor to ensure systems sustainability and usability.
We’d love to hear from you if you have...
- Experience in project delivery with offshore teams
- Experience in managing vendor relationships
- Business level English and Japanese language proficiencies
- Technical support experience in the travel industry would be an advantage
- A Degree or Diploma in IT is preferred
- Having Amadeus GDS ticketing background would be an advantage
- Understanding the local Japan specifics from a content supply perspective is preferred
