About the opportunity 

Discova is seeking candidates to fill the position of Junior Business Analyst on our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our business operations. The successful candidate will document and translate business requirements into system specifications, focusing on system migration projects, including the ongoing transition from Tourplan to Microsoft Dynamics 365. 

This role requires a deep understanding of the various sales processes within a destination management company. This full-time analytical position will also support the continuous improvement and deployment of ERP and CRM systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Serve as a bridge between business units and technical teams. Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration to ensure project success. 

  • Gather and document detailed business requirements from Discova stakeholders for the system migration project. 

  • Partner with senior analysts to verify that the new system comprehensively captures all business needs. 

  • Thoroughly understand and document FIT, GIT, and Group sales workflows in the current system. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map these processes to the new Microsoft Dynamics 365 system. 

  • Analyse business operations data to identify the migration's potential challenges and impacts. 

  • Generate insightful reports and analyses to support informed decision-making. 

  • Assist in developing training materials and guides to prepare end-users for the new system. 

  • Provide initial-level support to users during the transition to the new system. 

 

About You 

The Essentials 

  • A proven track record in Business Analysis or related roles, preferably in the tourism or hospitality industry 

  • Fluent in English, both oral and written 

  • Hands-on expertise in ERP or CRM system implementation projects 

  • Deep understanding of tourism industry business processes, particularly within destination management companies (preferred) 

  • Proven ability to document and translate business requirements into technical specifications 

  • Extensive experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system migration projects 

  • Exceptional communication skills, owning effective cross-departmental and vendor collaborations 

  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process optimization 

  • In-depth knowledge of sales processes, including FIT, GIT, and group sales
