A fantastic opportunity to develop your commercial acumen in the pivotal role of Finance Business Partner - Air Procurement
You will gain insight into all brands across Leisure, Corporate and Specialist pillars and develop relationships with Finance and Product leaders from all parts of the business. The ability to communicate results, work with suppliers and provide timely and astute analysis are key facets of the role.
 
The Australian Air Procurement team manage preferred relationships with all major airlines operating in the AU market, ensuring FCTG is the partner of choice and that we have access to extensive Air content on market leading commercial terms.   
The team are responsible for generating substantial revenue distributions back to Leisure and Corporate brands and are a major driver of the FCTG Supply result.
 
 
 
The role is primarily responsible for:
 
  • Evaluating commercial contract proposals from airlines
  • Supporting the Supplier Relationship Managers through the negotiation phase of contracting with airline partners
  • Tracking air contract performance and ensuring these are accurately accounted for
  • Calculating and communicating revenue distributions to Leisure and Corporate brands
  • Understanding and communicating risks and opportunities to channel revenue and maximise returns from our group air sales
  • Collection of override payment and tracking of debt
  • Forecasting and budgeting
  • Liasing with FCTG expert teams and external auditors
  • Leading and developing a team of 3 commercial analysts
 
 
 
Skills and Qualification:
 
  • Ability to build relationships internally and with suppliers
  • Ability to summarise and communicate financial results
  • Use financial data to inform business decisions
  • Comfortable working with large data sets
  • Ability to lead and develop a small team
  • Identify and deliver process efficiencies
  • 5+ years' experience in a finance leadership role
  • CA or CPA preferred
