As the Senior BI Analyst and Team Lead you will use the latest methodologies and tech to advance our global BI solution, while leading the delivery roadmaps and managing a team for one or more Leisure
brands.

Using Power BI, you'll be developing and designing Business Intelligence reporting based on data delivered through Hive tables and databases. If you are well versed in SQL, experienced in scoping/designing of data marts for BI consumption preferably with Power BI shared datasets and would like to take a leading role in implementing processes while looking for continuous improvement, please apply!

 

Day to day:

 

• Work closely with Brand stakeholders to continually advance the roadmap for BI solutions
• Leverage your technical expertise and domain knowledge to proactively lead your team 
• Responsibility for the delivery, accuracy and optimisation of BI solutions
• Build close and positive working relationships with data, brand and support teams
• Develop and maintain the data integration process, procedures and reporting frameworks
• Responsible for the solution development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, implementation and hyper-care
• Ensure BI solutions meet usability, and performance requirements
• Creation and maintenance of SQL store procedures, views and ad-hoc SQL reporting, including directly querying delta lake through HIVE and Databricks notebooks
• Ensure all team members are trained and deliver on documentation, communication and stakeholder manager expectations
• Follow agile practices to optimise the flow of work

 

You'll be perfect for the role if you have:

 

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a BI analyst or similar
• SQL experience
• People management experience, highly regarded
• Degree educated or equivalent industry certifications
