About the Role:

If you have a strong grasp of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) group travel requirements and excel in converting these needs into innovative solutions through effective supplier management and flawless execution, this role is ideal for you.

  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure inventory and service confirmations.

  • Anticipate and meet client needs, ensuring outstanding service delivery.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors, trip planners, and event organizers.
  • Provide precise and timely documentation to clients.
  • Manage alternative booking arrangements in response to changes before or during trips.
  • Serve as the primary client contact throughout the event lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • 8 to 12 years of proven experience in project management within the MICE industry.
  • Demonstrated ability in team leadership, including training and mentoring team members.
  • Experience leading operational teams and maintaining high performance standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of major suppliers, MICE products, and destinations.
  • Familiarity with project management processes, standards, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team handling international operations and contracting.
  • Ensure competitive market rates and optimize international MICE transactions.
  • Oversee the seamless execution of international MICE operations.
  • Drive Gross Operating Profit (GOP) growth through effective management and operational excellence.
  • Promote collaboration and productivity among team members.
  • Prepare and present Management Information System (MIS) reports as needed.
