FCTG's Global Supply business is a cross functional global team responsible for the procurement, technology, reporting, financial management, pricing and support of Flight Centre Travel Groups global supply chain. Our Global Supply Teams empower our famous worldwide brands to deliver on their customer promise.
As the Business Analyst in our Global Supply Technology team, you will be experienced in analysing and identifying business needs and improvements, to assist with driving efficiencies across internal processes and improving technology platforms and products. You'll be knowledgeable in business process improvement, software development life cycle methodologies, and experience in creating commercial business cases to understand the ROI of opportunities.

This role is located in our Global Head office in South Bank, the lively cultural hub of Brisbane.
Day to day:
- Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
- Develop use cases and process flows to support the development of software solutions
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand business needs and pain points
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are aligned with business goals
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams
- Create business cases and cost-benefit analyses to support business opportunities
- Participate in user acceptance testing and ensure that solutions meet business requirements
- Develop and maintain system documentation and training materials
You'll be perfect for the role if you have:
- 2+ years professional experience in a business analyst role
- Travel booking System, Travelbox experience
- Experience using Atlassian tool suite (JIRA and Confluence)
- Strong understanding of the travel or retail industry
- Background knowledge in areas such as, requirements gathering process, design and architecture
- Analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge in business process re-engineering and improvement
- Good quality documentation skills, both technical and non-technical
- Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
