As our newest Refunds Officer you will play a crucial role in our customers experience; in the event customers cannot travel we provide a refund or credit in a timely manner to ensure they remain Flight Centre customers for life. 

Primary Accountabilities & Objectives

  • Ensure funds have been received from the supplier
  • Manage exceptions and errors for rejected refunds
  • Upload refund payments to centralised payment platforms
  • Review, approve, and process customer refunds and credits
  • Review and audit refunds owed to customers to ensure accuracy and validity
  • Communicate with consultants, respond to queries and assist with troubleshooting
  • Maintain and update system information Attend and contribute to team meetings Provide support and guidance to other team members 
  • Attend and contribute to teams meetings
  • Provide support and guidance to other team members
  • Ad-hoc projects as required

Skills & Capabilities

  • High level of ownership
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer knowledge (Windows, MS Word, MS Excel)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous experience working in a similar role or role requiring structured process flows and financial management
