Job Purpose: 

We are seeking an experienced Manager/Senior Manager, Data Analytics & Reporting, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in data analysis, management reporting, and data visualization, coupled with a track record in improving operational efficiency through data-driven insights. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders to develop and refine reporting systems, ensuring they align with strategic objectives. Your expertise will guide the creation of actionable insights, driving decision-making across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting:
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive set of management/internal/client reports, both regular (daily, weekly, monthly) and ad-hoc.
• Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and meet the information needs of senior management and other stakeholders.
• Continuously evaluate and improve reporting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Data Analytics and Visualization:
• Lead the development and implementation of analytics and visualization to provide deeper insights into data for strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify analytics needs and develop dashboards and reports that visualize complex datasets in an understandable and actionable manner.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and visualization to continuously enhance the organization's analytics capabilities.

Data Operations and Quality:
• Oversee data operations including data collection, processing, storage, and consumption.
• Implement and maintain data quality controls to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data used in reports.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure that the data infrastructure supports the needs of management reporting effectively.

Operational Efficiency:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to increase operational efficiency in reporting.
• Lead projects to streamline data operations and reporting processes, including automation of reports and integration of data sources.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report on operational efficiency improvements.

Team Management and Development:
• Lead, mentor, and develop the management information reporting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Allocate resources and prioritize projects to meet reporting deadlines and objectives.
• Provide training and support to ensure the team is proficient in reporting tools and techniques.

Compliance and Governance:
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards, including data privacy regulations relevant to management reporting.
• Participate in the development and implementation of data governance frameworks to support secure and compliant reporting practices.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work closely with business unit leaders and IT to understand their information needs and to ensure that reports are aligned with organizational goals.
• Facilitate the communication of insights and findings from reports to support data-driven decision-making.

Core Skills/Competencies Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
• 7-12 years of experience in data analysis, management reporting, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a team leadership position.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis and statistical modeling.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or matplotlib.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
• In-depth knowledge of data management, quality control, and governance principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), ETL tools, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with scrum/agile methodology.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Proven experience of developing and delivering clear, accurate and relevant reports to aid decision making.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
• Experience working in the Travel industry is a plus.
