About The Opportunity 

The Regional Director for Supplier Relation is responsible for delivering sustainable profit improvements for FCTG through developing, maintaining, and managing supplier relationships, engaging all FCTG distribution channels and executing preferred supplier strategy.

Working directly with the leadership team based in the Asia and the Global Supply Executive Team, the Regional Director for Supplier Relation will drive the supply and revenue elements of the FCTG business in Asia and provide market and tactical supplier and revenue insight for the region.

This role will also work closely with the respective discipline leaders to ensure that the businesses are well equipped and focused on maximising margin and the supply chain to ensure a world class experience for our travelling customers.

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnerships - Build and maintain strong trust-based relationships with key FCTG stakeholders, including internal and external customers, suppliers and partners.  Building and representing the business at relevant corporate events, enhancing the company's public profile.
  • Strategic Planning - Develop and execute business strategies and plans to achieve short and long-term goals that deliver mutually beneficial commercial outcomes.
  • Leadership - Coach and develop direct reports, and eensure teams are motivated, focused and skilled to succeed in a competitive and challenging environment.
  • Commercial Management - Oversee the regions business commercial, revenue, and financial performance relating to our supply and distribution focus.
  • Business Improvement -  Develop and implement initiatives that provide a stream of income and/or productivity related improvements. Identify and assess non-organic opportunities.
  • Risk Management -  Assess, manage, and resolving problematic developments and situations in the supply environment, ensuring the businesses legal guidelines, financial & regulatory integrity are maintained.
  • Negotiating -  Negotiate key agreements, contracts, and partnerships that achieve mutually beneficial commercial outcomes.

We’d love to hear from you if you have...

  • At least 10 years experience in a senior leadership role in FCTG and/or the Travel Industry
  • Leadership ability to build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
  • Strategic thinking to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with organizational goals, setting clear objectives
  • Understanding of financial management, including budgeting, analysis, and resource allocation for effective decision-making
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills for data-driven decision-making
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey goals, expectations, and feedback to teams, stakeholders, and senior management
  • Ability to lead and manage organisational change, whether related to process improvements, technology adoption, or shifts in business strategy
  • Ability to negotiate favorable outcomes for the group that optimise commercial return
  • Ability to foster key relationships with suppliers and other important stakeholders such as other industry partners, internal brands, our people and the media
  • Experience in an FCTG product role (preferred)
