The UK M&E business is continuing on its transformation journey, and the successful applicant will play a huge part in scaling and growing the Events business profitably. The successful applicant will need to be a motivated individual with a track record of delivering results for their customers, and for the business. This individual will need to approach this role with flexibility and adaptability and will have a growth mindset.

• Responsible for the overall performance, growth and development of the events team and events business.
• Foster a collaborative, productive and creative team culture.
• Maximise productivity of teams and team members.  
• Play a lead role in driving customer partnerships including strategic planning, MLR development, new business conversion and incumbent growth.
• Contribute to the overall direction of FCM Meetings and Event as a senior member of the leadership team

Requirements:

• A minimum of 8 years demonstrated experience in project management within the event management and production industry. - Essential
• Proven track record in effective leadership and experience in training and mentoring team members.
• Experience in leading an operational team.
• A knowledge of all major suppliers and relevant MICE products and destinations
• Knowledge of project management processes, standards, and procedures
