Job Purpose

The Technology Implementation Manager is responsible for coordination and implementation of global FCM products & technologies in the APAC region, mainly OBT Implementation. These include all products & services as developed as part of the overall FCM global technology strategy & roadmap plan, along with eventual support of those technologies as required. The uniqueness of this position is to involve in the implementations of FCM Japan’s customers with Japanese language capability and the market knowledge.

This role involves close coordination with the FCM global technology team and regional FCM equity and partner leadership on identifying solutions that need to be implemented, developing project plans & timelines for implementation, prioritizing those activities, and then working to meet those timelines to meet client deliverables and expectations.

Additional responsibilities will include assisting in documentation of partner operations & technologies in the region, assisting in the strategy development for global products and solutions as applicable in the APAC region, local support & training of product usage and tools for internal & external customers, liaising with regional equity technology teams on projects underway and applicability to their areas, sales support for regional efforts to secure new customers, and leadership of regional technology committee meetings and discussions.

Accountabilities

Consultation
- Working with customers, Sales and Account Management teams on identification of applicable technologies that best meets the clients’ requirements
- Providing expert advice on product capabilities and constraints, assist with the solution of technical challenges in product adoption

Product Training and Support
- Providing first level product training to key local resources that will be responsible for on-going application management
- Establishing and providing key training documents to local resources
- On-going management and maintenance of those training documents
- Effective tracking and status reporting of issues reported for support purposes
- Trending of support issues to understand training or process improvements necessary in the systems

Project Management
- Working with global product leadership team on identification of applicable technologies within the APAC region for implementation
- Development of product implementation project plans; executing on plan as developed
- Reporting project status, key milestones, risks, etc, as necessary
- Communication to relevant parties on the status of implementation projects
- Feedback collection from partners on products, regional requirements, and functionality enhancements necessary

Communications Int/Ext.
- Effective communication within local, regional, and global technology teams
- Status reporting of projects to appropriate individuals
- Communication of status through variety of channels (email, project documents, Chatter, etc)
- Reporting of partner related issues to regional managers for resolution
- Representation of FCM technology services at applicable conferences and industry events
- Coordination of regional technology committee meetings
