About The Opportunity

As the Team Leader for Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), you'll lead our team in driving sales growth and generating leads through outbound prospecting efforts. This pivotal role demands a blend of leadership skills, sales expertise, and an in-depth understanding of the sales process. Your influence will be felt as you coach, motivate, and empower the SDR team to surpass targets while upholding high-quality standards in lead generation. You'll be the driving force behind our outbound prospecting initiatives, guiding your team to new heights and setting the benchmark for lead generation and sales growth. In this role, you'll spearhead our outbound prospecting efforts, foster a culture of excellence and collaboration, and inspire SDRs to realize their full potential, all while surpassing targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership to a team of SDRs, including recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Strategy Execution: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to execute on lead generation strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as calls, emails, meetings booked, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution, providing regular feedback to team members to drive improvement.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously refine and optimize the SDR process, including prospecting techniques, messaging, and outreach strategies, to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of SDRs, focusing on areas such as objection handling, value proposition articulation, and product knowledge.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and customer success, to ensure seamless communication and alignment of efforts towards common goals.
  • Qualify clients’ needs including budgetary, product, service
  • Identify gaps to effectively counter issues or concern
  • Counter competitor pitches
  • Follow One Best Way Sales Process
  • Negotiate mutually agreeable outcomes whilst optimising margin levels
  • manage efficient bid & tender projects
  • identify, co-ordinate & engage the necessary stakeholders
  • Ensure brand standards, CVP and market proposition is clear and compelling
  • Analysis of tender data and the preparation of commercial business cases to client
  • Identify key sources of data to determine competitive edge
  • Co-ordinate all required data from stakeholders to prepare response
  • Preparation of rigorous business case to client
  • Preparation and collation of superior professional response

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a leadership or management role
  • Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in sales development or inside sales role, with a track record of exceeding targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence others effectively.
  • Deep understanding of sales processes and methodologies, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving continuous improvement.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or management role is preferred but not required

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $85,000 plus commission/incentive earnings based on achievable targets. The salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements. On target earnings average range between $85,000-$110,000 The annual salary range listed represents the total compensation package, excluding benefits.
