An exciting permanent opportunity has come up within the Privacy and Data Protection team, Australia and New Zealand at Flight Centre Travel Group. This team is part of a Global Privacy and Data Protection team where you have the ability to network and engage with other privacy and data protection professionals around the world.
In this role you will be involved in the following types of activities: providing advice on general privacy matters, managing reported data incidents, managing data subject access requests, managing requests for information from law enforcement and third parties, managing privacy complaints, reviewing and responding to requests or notifications from regulators (i.e., OAIC and ACMA) keeping abreast of privacy law reforms and their potential impact on the business, and obtaining/maintaining professional privacy qualifications through IAPP.
In addition to the above activities, you will also participate in coordinating the regional and global privacy and data protection program, including the review and update of strategy, operational plans, policy, procedure and processes and participate in the development and review of mandatory privacy and data protection training and educational initiatives delivered to all staff.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience in business administration, law, finance, accounting, engineering, science and technology studies, IT or a related discipline

Three+ years of commercial experience in privacy, data protection, privacy law, security, risk management, auditing and/or compliance
