About The Opportunity
The Regional General Manager (RGM) plays a pivotal role in championing the Corporate Traveller brand within their region, overseeing all aspects of operational performance to deliver exceptional service and drive customer growth and retention. A commercially astute leader, the RGM brings a deep understanding of their region’s cost drivers, products, services, and systems, enabling them to identify opportunities for competitive advantage and market share expansion.
Customer success is central to this role. RGMs have a strong grasp of their area's customer segmentation and are actively engaged in nurturing key relationships. They lead with a customer-first mindset, managing satisfaction metrics and implementing experience and engagement strategies to elevate the service offering. RGMs also take ownership of resolving emerging issues in their region, ensuring outcomes that are both customer-focused and commercially sound.
Key Responsibilities
- Works with key stakeholders internally and externally to deliver an outstanding & consistent customer experience
- Demonstrates full ownership of all operational functions within their area to drive positive outcomes for clients
- Engages and collaborates with other disciplines including Account Management, Sales, Technology, Onboarding to deliver productivity enhancements and explore cost reduction strategies
- Represents Corporate Traveller at industry events and within industry peer groups
- Manages multiple tasks effectively
- Identifies opportunities for business improvement
- Delivers a compelling customer experience to maximize the opportunity for retention and satisfaction
- Identifies opportunities for referrals
- Drives continuous improvement of a travel program
- Drives and delivers on team business plan and KPIs
- Delivers valuable insights and expertise on the industry
- Trains, Mentors, inspires and motivates their team members to develop and achieved their desired brightness of future
- Open to learning and developing the skills required to succeed
- Seeks feedback and continually looks to improve their leadership ability
- Completes and stays up to date with training requirements
- Provides the business and team with clear plans and goals
- Influences team members to achieving goals and positive outcomes
- Coaches, trains, mentors, and performance manages team members that are not performing
- Creates a positive environment where people feel seen, heard, and valued
- Is an agile and flexible leader
- Communicates consistently, openly, and honestly via two-way communication through the FCTG communication systems

Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years’ Team Leader experience with Corporate Traveller
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of the internal and customer-facing technology systems
- Ability to assess, troubleshoot and provide solutions to a varying range of scenarios
- In depth understanding and awareness of corporate travel products that deliver the best outcome for the customer & Corporate Traveller
- Highly competent in updating and maintaining CRM data
- Demonstrates a detailed understanding and knowledge of the reporting suite
- High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office software suite
- Strong knowledge of the financial systems and processes
- Expert in the review of the customer’s travel program
- Commercial mindset - understands key business drivers and implications
- Superior presentation skills
- Ability to present options that drive compelling financial and operational value to deliver growth and profitability
- Expert in reviewing, analyzing and presenting data
- Strong negotiation skills
- Expert on how to position the features and benefits of the Corporate Traveller product suite
- Excellent track record of effective and timely execution
- Superior knowledge of supplier deals and how they are structured and optimized
- Excellent organizational and team collaboration skills
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Detailed knowledge of the brand, values and target customers
- Demonstrates superior knowledge of external competitor activity and market trends to deliver valued insights
- Leads by Example, demonstrates the ability to model the way in terms of behavior, performance and results
- Demonstrates discipline via daily, weekly, and monthly habits that drive personal and team success
- The ability to set and drive plans and goals, kept relevant and alive over a 12-month period

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $170,000. Base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
