This Financial accounting role requires you to have a disciplined financial control mindset, diligent work ethic, be proactive in finding solutions, have strong customer and teamwork skills, time management skills and ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment.

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for:

• Managing month-end accounting, including cash management, wage calculations, and recording debtors/creditors
• Conducting balance sheet reconciliations
• Protecting the business by monitoring and reviewing at-risk items
• Preparing timely and accurate monthly Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reviews
• Assisting with half-year and year-end statutory audits
• Continuously identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies within finance workflow processes
• Supporting special projects, system implementations, and process improvement initiatives as they arise
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, relevant accounting standards, and FCL minimum standards for financial systems and processes

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role
• An undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a similar field
• CA/CPA qualification
