About the Opportunity

What you will be doing:

In short, the role is tasked with ensuring that the development and growth of our Leisure Leaders contributes to a thriving, high-performance culture and a strong leadership pipeline within our leisure brands. Leading the Leisure Leadership Facilitation team. The role will ensure delivery of strategic, effective, and innovative solutions that ultimately drive both individual and Brand success.

• Ensure that learning programs support the overarching objectives of the Brands', such as improving customer service, increasing productivity and operational efficiency, enhancing employee satisfaction and retention and improving leadership bench strength. Support the Head of Global Leadership to ensure effective and appropriate leadership learning strategies that align with FCTG goals. This will include engaging with key stakeholders such as SME's, Senior Leaders and other L&D peers to ensure on time delivery of key initiatives.  It will also include supporting the Global P&C Leadership Team in ensuring OBW program development is utilized in Leisure markets outside of AU.

• Manage and inspire a team of L&D professionals, guiding them in the creation and delivery of training programs that foster skills development and leadership potential within the organisation.
• Create a high-performing, motivated team culture, ensuring that each team member is well-equipped to execute their roles effectively.

• Foster a culture of lifelong learning, where Leaders are encouraged and supported to grow in their roles and advance in their careers. This includes identifying skill gaps, promoting development to enhance both personal and Brand success and ensuring a pipeline of future leaders at all levels.

• Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of effective training and development initiatives, ensuring they are engaging, relevant, and impactful for Leaders across various roles within our Leisure Brands.

• Support the future implementation of metrics and feedback systems to assess the effectiveness of learning programs, ensuring that training results in measurable improvements in performance and is aligned with Brand goals.

• Stay ahead of emerging trends in both leisure and leadership learning & development fields, ensuring FCTG adopts innovative approaches to development and keeps up with industry standards.

• The role will also serve as host and /or moderator for virtual and in person leadership and empowerment program deliveries, curating and sharing content knowledge via facilitation expertise, administering collaboration tools, monitoring and measuring participants to ensure expert delivery and participant understanding.

• Manage learning leadership resources effectively, ensuring budgets are adhered to, materials are cost-effective, and both Facilitators and any vendors are utilised appropriately for the benefit of FCTG.

• A proven track record in Learning and Development
• Senior Leadership experience in FCTG
