An average day in the life

As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for significant revenue retention, identification of growth opportunities, commercial negotiation and delivering a winning strategy for FCM’s largest corporate customers. Using the customer business goals and objectives as the roadmap, you will work with the customer to ensure the smooth running and optimisation of their tech stack optimising performance and user experience and introducing enhancements where it would be of benefit to the customer goals and program objectives.

You will be a strong team member and work effectively with the sales team to assist with new business while playing an active role in winning new accounts.

You might be perfect for the role if

  • A proven competency and understanding of TMC technology with a minimum of 5 years operational experience
  • An in-depth knowledge of GDS systems – Amadeus, Sabre and Galileo
  • Understanding of online booking tools, namely Concur, Cytric (ideally FCMB) and their travel settings and preferencing metrics
  • Knowledge and expertise of travel technology tools and how the work within a managed travel ecosystem
  • Knowledge of TMC front, mid and back office systems
  • An analytical mindset and have the ability to interpret data in a way that aligns with customer/internal goals and strategies and develops actionable insights
  • Exceptional networking skills and have the ability to develop new relationships and sustain and grow existing ones
  • Willingness to recommend new processes, services and systems to optimize program success
  • A strong multi tasker with the ability to deliver projects and tasks in a timely and efficient manner
  • Result driven mindset that can lead change whilst being able to adapt and innovate
  • Have the capacity to identify gaps and define issues in a clear and cohesive manner
