The Sales Leader is a dynamic leader responsible for supporting, leading, and motivating Team Leaders and the sales department in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the department while also focusing on long-term strategic goals to drive results.

The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who can inspire performance, foster collaboration, and implement strategies that balance immediate results with long-term success.

A day in the life:

  • The role involves leading, mentoring, and supporting Team Leaders to effectively manage and motivate their teams
  • Key responsibilities include fostering a high-performance culture, driving sales targets and KPIs, and ensuring alignment with company goals
  • Be a role model in sales, customer service, and leadership, while promoting a customer-first approach to enhance the overall customer experience
  • You are responsible for analyzing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and collaborating with Team Leaders on action plans to address challenging areas
  • The role involves overseeing daily operations, managing resources, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and working closely with senior leadership to define and execute departmental objectives
  • Developing strategies to balance short-term performance with long-term growth and sustainability
  • Collaboration with other departments and proactive identification of improvement opportunities in processes, tools, and team structures is key to supporting continuous success
  • Build a high-performance culture by fostering collaboration, accountability, and recognition across the department
  • Collaborate with Team Leaders to develop action plans to improve performance in their areas and celebrate successes
  • Create and implement long-term strategies to enhance productivity, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth

 

Who you are:

  • Proven track record as a Sales Manager or in a comparable leadership role within a high-energy, fast paced sales environment
  • Experience managing Team Leaders or supervisory-level staff in a sales-driven organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and motivational skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
