About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Team Leader to lead the day-to-day activities of Revenue Management, driving the optimisation of available content and maximizing revenue opportunities for our North American Corporate markets.

Your primary mission is to sustainably grow our margins through steering strategies, ensuring that we prioritize and configure fares to guide customers toward highest margin opportunities on all routes and cabins. This includes all activities pre and post-sale to maximise margin where possible and legitimate.

This pivotal role requires a strong analytical mindset, as you will be responsible for identifying the opportunities within your portfolio and driving their execution with the team. You will be expected to model their financial impact and track their delivery to ensure we consistently meet or exceed expectations.

In addition to your content strategy leadership, you will play a key role in driving change management within our revenue management processes. As we adapt to evolving markets and a rapidly changing distribution landscape, your ability to facilitate change and align our teams with new strategies will be essential to our success. This includes, among others, evolving our strategy alongside with the ramp-up of new distribution channels, both from our business and our suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and achieve sustainable margin improvement as a primary KPI.
  • Enhance preferred fares usage and reduce revenue leakage as key performance indicators.
  • Support the supplier steering strategy from Air, prioritizing and configuring fares to guide clients toward best margin opportunities on all routes and cabins.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to model income opportunities and identify strategies for sustainable revenue growth.
  • Work with Operations to improve consultant adoption of preferred fares and an efficient Better Buying strategy across the region.
  • Monitor and track the delivery of content strategy initiatives, ensuring they meet or exceed performance expectations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with procurement, operations, commercial, consultants, and finance to optimize content and revenue.
  • Foster teamwork and influence consultant behaviours in alignment with the evolving revenue management strategy.
  • Mentor and guide a team across North America, providing actionable feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Drive the reduction of revenue leakage through effective strategies.
  • Shape and execute the distribution strategy for North American markets, considering NDC and traditional channels.
  • Lead change management initiatives to adapt revenue management processes to changing markets and distribution landscapes.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in revenue management, content optimization, distribution or a related field within the travel industry. Preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to model income opportunities and interpret complex data.
  • Strong leadership abilities and a track record of guiding diverse teams toward revenue growth goals.
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills.
  • Charismatic communicator with the ability to influence and unite cross-functional teams toward common goals.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
  • Knowledge of travel industry trends, distribution systems, and NDC is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $110,000. Base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
