Corporate Technology is looking for a Global Head of Finance Systems, you would be responsible for the set of finance systems that provide customer solutions and support the Corporate transactional finance teams. The role is also responsible for the customer experience related to finance services including but not limited to payment solutions, invoicing/statement solutions, and spend management. They will be required to generate revenue through supplier payment partnerships and ensure that the finance operating model and systems continue to efficiently evolve with the corporate pricing, fee, and revenue strategies.

 

Day to day...

• Ensuring the people within your organisation are evaluated positively by the rest of the company.
• Develop a strong team of product, design, and engineering people
• Accountable for ensuring the development, training, and retention of people within your organisation.
• Proficiency in managing geographically dispersed teams, implementing strategic resource planning and knowledge sharing to uphold global business continuity while maximizing resource efficiency.
• An expert in establishing and maintaining both the product vision and strategy for your given product lines.
• Ensures the product strategy aligns to the corporate objectives and delivers commercial benefits within the scope of your product lines.
• Experience with managing multiple products in a portfolio through a product lifecycle including making strategic decisions on what products to introduce, enhance, or decommission.
• Contributes to the overall strategic direction informing M&A activity and build/buy/partner decisions
• Contribute to the understanding of overall workflows to effectively align product and engineering efforts. Recognising interdependence between upstream and downstream systems to ensure the success of the entire eco-system
• An expert in product planning, discovery, and engineering processes that can drive the team’s ability to execute consistently, rapidly, and effectively.
• Proven experience in collaborating with senior executives as part of a large global organisation and balancing global, regional, and market concerns. Includes evangelising the product vision, strategy, and the product roadmaps throughout the organisation
• Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and security standards including the requirements for product development and engineering practices.
• Understands and effectively implements a culture of continuous and rapid testing, learning, and risk mitigation ultimately leading to continuous innovation.
• Responsible for the set of systems that support the Corporate transactional finance teams.
• Driving higher levels of efficiency and lowering cost to serve in conjunction with global and regional transactional
  finance teams incl. Global Business Services or Centre of Excellence.
• Responsible for the customer experience related to finance services including but not limited to payment solutions, invoicing/statement solutions, and spend management.
• Responsible for generating revenue through supplier payment partnerships.
• Responsible for ensuring that the finance operating model and systems continue to efficiently evolve with the Corporate pricing, fee, and revenue strategies.
• Reduced transactional finance cost to serve including costs incurred within the Corporate Tech P&L
• Revenue generated from core and ancillary supply product lines, fees, and payment/spend management services

• Proven experience leading geographically dispersed technology teams
• Proven experience managing the strategy for a global product portfolio
• Preferred experience in travel finance, payment, expense, and spend
  management
• A degree in technology or a related field highly desirable 
• A degree in finance highly desirable
