The Concierge Air Specialist (My Cruise) in a travel agency call centre is responsible for assisting clients with air travel arrangements related to their cruise vacations. This role involves providing expert travel advice, booking and managing flights, handling changes or issues with air travel, and offering a high level of personalized service to ensure seamless travel experiences for cruise clients. The position requires strong communication, attention to detail, customer service skills, and proficiency in managing complex travel itineraries. 🌊⚓✨

 

What you'll be doing...

  • Book and manage flights aligned with cruise schedules.
  • Provide expert advice on routes, airports, and travel options.
  • Handle changes, cancellations, and resolve travel issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with cruise teams for seamless embarkation and disembarkation.
  • Promote premium air services and travel enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate records and collaborate across departments.

 

 

Who you are...

  • Experience: Background in travel, airline, or customer service; call centre experience a plus.
  • Technical: Familiarity with GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) and CRM systems.
  • Customer Service: Strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to handle complex inquiries professionally.
  • Attention to Detail: Accurate handling of multiple bookings and client requests.
  • Sales: Ability to upsell upgrades and travel enhancements.
  • Time Management: Efficient multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Languages: Fluency in English; additional languages an advantage.
  • Education: High school diploma required; degree in Hospitality/Tourism preferred.
  • Working Conditions: Rotating roster including weekends/public holidays in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
