About the Opportunity

FCM China is seeking an UI/UX Designer to support the Tech Product Team in China with website content, onsite UX and banner designs. The best candidates have a strong understanding of digital trends, design concepts, UI front page development, content management systems as well as the ability to influence internal/external stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to flex your technical and innovative muscles in this diverse role.

Areas of Responsibilities

  • Designing across all digital channels e.g. website, app, H5 and offline brand collateral to help drive the brand forward
  • Taking a strategic lead towards multiple design briefs and project managing the design delivery on and offline
  • Work alongside the Product Director to conceptualize projects that fit the brief and that are on brand
  • Coding and designing user interface pages
  • Leading with digital best practice you will help create a consistent brand experience for the end-user
  • Aiding in the design of basic animations/GIFs
  • Collating & driving marketing requirements for improvements to website development and functionality, along with management of overall company intranet
  • Owning the design strategy from concept through to final delivery

What we are looking for: 

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a design role with a strong emphasis on UX, banner design and front-end coding
  • Confident working on digital marketing assets as well as broader digital design projects
  • A strong understanding of brand consistency across all marketing collateral
  • Highly creative and commercial digital designer – able to visualize concepts and drive the creative output
  • Proficient user of Adobe Create Suite including; Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Proficient working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Strong experience in using content management systems (e.g. Drupal, WordPress preferred)
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages including; Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good understanding of Mac Design packages
