Yield & Revenue Manager

 is on the lookout for a passionate, high-reaching Yield & Revenue Manager to join our global team!  

  

About the Opportunity 

The Yield & Revenue Manager is responsible for overseeing Discova’s Destination Services’ business growth efforts by providing insightful financial analysis, commercial recommendations and business development support. In your critical role, you will help Discova’s Senior Leaders make informed business decisions to achieve Discova’s budgetary targets in a sustainable and ethical manner.   

 

Your main responsibilities are:    

  • Support the GIT and FIT Commercial Support Leaders with the provision of appropriate pricing for GIT and FIT business development/repricing activities 

  • Support with product selection and pricing of products to OTA and other distribution platforms 

  • Analyse data and provide strong commercial acumen to find a balance between pricing competitiveness and Discova’s Profitable Strategy 

  • Help drive our global Destination Sales business by providing commercial financial support and analysis to business leaders 

  • Strengthen the commercial focus of the team, providing context and guidance to help drive the right commercial proposals and decisions in new bids and repricing  

 

About you  

The Essentials: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce or Tourism    

  • OTA business analysis experience is essential, including a proven ability to retain and grow business through existing customer portfolios successfully and profitably  

  • Knowledge of destinations in the region 

 

The Attributes:  

  • Commercially astute, customer-focused and business-driven  

  • Accountable, proactive, critical thinker and enthusiastic  

  • Possesses strong communication skills in English   

  • Proficient with analytical tools and Microsoft Office applications (knowledge of Discova’s systems would be an advantage) 

  • Strong organisational and project & documentation management skills are important   

  • Solution focused and great at problem solving  

  • Willing to take on challenges and learn new concepts and skills 

  • High attention to detail   

  • Able to work under pressure and multitask   

  • Personally, aligned with Discova’s company purpose and values   

  • Able to work both independently and within a team to achieve results
