Job Purpose
 
Multi-National Account Manager is a senior role responsible for all AM deliverables and in addition accountability for leading the strategic direction of FCM's flagship customers over EUR 20M spend. You will be responsible for significant revenue retention, identification of growth opportunities, commercial negotiation and delivering a winning strategy for our largest corporate customers.
 
• Managing and accountability for the retention of FCM's top tier clients over EUR 20M in global spend
• Globally lead complex multinational client travel programs
• Provide winning strategy and execution across functions, geography and time zones
• Communicate and drive change into client business
• Manage and take accountability for travel program performance - including all regional and national Account Management and operational management
• Drive program compliance and provide strategy on capturing leakage
• Identify opportunities for organic growth of existing client base
• Identify opportunities to upsell consulting services and value added services
• Present insights to top level management to drive behavioural change within the organization
• Take the responsibility to stay on the cutting edge of the corporate travel market, industry news, updates, technology etc...
• Follow a continuous improvement philosophy to introduce program enhancements, technology development and innovation into the program
• Optimistic and desire to be successful an achieve
 
Key Competencies
 

• 5+ years industry experience in Team Leader, Account Management or Sales Role

• Fluent written and spoken English & German language

• Strong business acumen

• Able to commercially optimize & negotiate clients’ travel programs

• Comfortable using technology - CRM and reporting systems

• Strong analytics & data interpretation skillset

• Competency analysing data & presenting recommendations

• Self-motivated & solution oriented

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Attention to detail

• Professional presentation preparation

• Drives program results and execution of strategy within program

• Focuses on the client, understanding pain points and deliver solutions

• Communicate effectively to decision makers to influence behaviour

• Build & maintain successful business relationships

• Drive strategy & change in multinational customers

• Manage deliverables across function

• Work globally across culture and time zones

• Problem solving skills in complex situations

• Project Management methodology understanding

• Comfortable to present to C suite and top level managers

• Strong analytical skillset to customize dashboards and insights for top tier clients
