Microsoft Dynamics Developer

Flight Centre Travel Group is looking for a Microsoft Dynamics Developer. In this role you will be responsible for the implementation and administration of the company’s Customer Relationship Management platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing technical solutions in CRM and using available APIs for external integrations.  This will include the evaluation of new and existing use cases, system integration approach and maintenance, design and customization fit-for-purpose, and end-user adoption.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing direction and support of Dynamics CRM Customer Engagement platform including architecture, development, best practices, etc.
  • Individually contribute to software development, testing, improvements and upgrades
  • Perform code deployments and releases
  • Create and modify workflow processes, business process flows and actions
  • Create and maintain custom power apps
  • Design solutions in CRM or develop integrations with other applications
  • Comfortable working with both technical and business teams, flexible in working on a wide variety of projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and internal IT disciplines to implement Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions and ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes
  • Self-disciplined and comfortable working in a remote environment
  • Create written documentation including system architecture, configuration guides, presentations, and other documents as necessary.
  • Work with product management team to accurately forecast timing and efforts of work following agile methodology
  • Provide timely reports on the status of projects as well as any unforeseen issues to management and to business stakeholders
  • Test fixes to ensure problems have been adequately resolved

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Dynamics 365)
  • 3+ years of programming experience with .Net framework, C#, SQL Server, JavaScript or similar technologies
  • 2+ years' experience with Azure, AWS or other cloud compute vendors
  • Extensive MS Dynamics CRM experience that has included the following: Design, implementation and management of MS Dynamics
  • Experience developing and testing custom workflows, entities, objects, attributes with Microsoft CRM
  • Solid understanding of administration and security configuration
  • Experience migrating/integrating data with Dynamics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with common application platforms, development tools and best practices
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong understanding of and ability to consume application APIs
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Experience with IT troubleshooting principles and techniques
  • Familiarity with Git
  • Familiarity with Javascript or Typescript

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience is required. Microsoft Dynamics certification preferred.
