Change and Communications Specialist - Program Copernicus

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the program’s communication strategy, in consultation with the Change Lead
  • Design and development of all project announcements and communication material including emails, news bulletins, fact sheets, social media, promotional material and briefings
  • Manage the development and execution of all communications using a variety of mediums including analog and digital, video creation, website, graphics
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the change team ensuring the successful delivery of initiatives in order to meet business goals (project milestones)
  • Manage stakeholder relationships to maintain strong engagement, understanding and buy-in of the project progress and deliveries

Key Competencies

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Depth of experience leading communications activities for organisational change
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build highly effective working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Proven experience with the design and development of presentations including editing and proofreading
  • Demonstrated experience producing organization wide communications and communication strategies
  • Effective time management with the ability to prioritise in order to meet deadlines within a face-paced environment
  • High level conceptual and analytical skills with the capacity to develop solutions for a range of complex issues
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an easily understandable written format
  • Effective time management able to work effectively within a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated client relationship skills working in a dynamic client environment
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement and project management approaches, tools, and phases
  • Experience working for a global organisation or similar environment

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience in change management or communications
