Job Purpose:

Grow sales and profitability to our key destinations by delivering quality product that our customers want to buy and our consultants want to sell. 


You will represent a range of destinations in a key region and be accountable for air, land and sea growth to these geographical locations. You will do this by working with Product Buyers (Air Contracting, GPN, C&T), our key Third Party suppliers, destination management companies (DMCs) and Wholesale and Retail Marketing to source and manufacture product that is aligned to our overarching FC USA Leisure Brands Product to Market Strategy.


You will be FC USA’s destination specialist for the countries you represent and your purpose is to ensure that our product in your destinations are well priced, meaningful to our customers and our consultants have the tools and expertise to sell with ease, confidence and pride.


FC USA will grow our market share over the next 5 years and it will do so by having passionate and driven Destination Owners who are fully immersed in the countries they represent and have incredible relationships with our partners and suppliers who are committed on working with us to deliver and showcase our quality product.




Performance Measures

Product development and delivery



  • Create and execute a Destination Product Strategy that helps all aspects of the business to deliver the best returns to FC USA
  • Deliver products and services that meet or exceed the needs and expectations of each of FC USA’s Leisure Brands target customer profile
  • To analyze our current destination product split to prioritize key selling profitable products and identify opportunities within destinations
  • To analyze the market and our competitors
  • Work with marketing to manufacture quality products that are relevant to our customers
  • Curate Popular products to showcase our Product Range and allow our customers to have a choice of holiday experience
  • Work with marketing to see how we take these products to market
  • To work with Product Buyers to ensure our depth and breadth of product in our destination is best in market
  • Work with our internal stakeholders (Air, GPN, C&T, Marketing, Sales) to ensure our products can be booked efficiently by both wholesale and retail consultants

Destination and product expertise delivery



  • Understand leisure industry trends and opportunities by collaborating with Product Buyers (GPN, C&T, Air) our key suppliers & Tourist Boards
  • Work with wholesale and retail brands to ensure consultants are upskilled in the products we want them to sell
  • Work with FC USA Learning Centre to create training pathways in the FYC program and for experienced consultants
  • Align our incentives and fam trips to feature destinations and products that are relevant to our strategy

Marketing collaboration



  • Identify opportunities and help source specials for our campaigns and tactical in line with the campaign and seasonality calendar
  • Select the product for all merchandising, content and campaigns but take guidance from marketing who dictate priorities and workstack
  • Work with Marketing and Product Merchandising on each relevant campaign and work collaboratively with marketing to ensure they are successful
  • Work with FC USA Brochures Team to deliver an outstanding “FC USA” Brochure range that showcases our quality products

Driving our economic engine



  • Align our high selling destinations and products with profitable margin returns to help drive more sales
  • Channel sales to relevant products and suppliers to maximize our profitable co-op and preferred SOR contracts
  • Work with GPN revenue management to ensure our products are priced to ensure sales growth and maximum income opportunities
  • To build relationships with our suppliers that are commercially focused.  All supplier objectives have a commercial objective for FC USA Leisure Brands
  • Provide a clear and measurable return on investment

Qualifications and Prior Experience

Qualification / Experience


At least 3 years successful travel experience


In depth destination knowledge


In depth knowledge of Wholesale FIT contracts, override contracts, marketing co-op contracts


In depth knowledge of retail travel trade and wholesale/tour op competitors and associated portfolio of contacts


2 years plus  working and leading within a tour operator/wholesale environment


Degree qualified
